The most likely scenario they are preparing for is the blocking of the Western financial system. The system is undoubtedly dysfunctional. Both Europe and the United States are in a catastrophic economic situation. Mathematically, it is obvious that the financial system cannot continue to function as it does.
Let’s analyze the situation in the USA. The recent and sudden increase in interest rates undoubtedly led to the bankruptcy of most financial institutions, as well as the government itself.

Then there’s the housing market, which is worth 55,500 billion dollars. The business has completely stalled because most people took out mortgage loans at low interest rates and won’t be able to afford to refinance them at new, higher rates. This, in itself, means that the banks have gone bankrupt.
Now let’s take a look at the banks’ holdings in U.S. Treasury bonds.

These securities were supposed to represent their safest assets, but their value has fallen, which means that the banks have huge unreported losses on their balance sheets.
This corruption permeates the entire system. For example, subprime auto loans amounting to $1.7 trillion are failing at an accelerated rate.
The situation is even worse for the average American citizen: high fuel and fertilizer prices have bankrupted farmers and trucking companies.
Since the beginning of the year, approximately 221 trucking companies have filed for bankruptcy.
Approximately two‑thirds of small U.S. trucking companies, which typically operate 20 or fewer tractors and often only one, report that their revenue has not changed or has decreased compared to the same period last year… nearly 40 % of these operators said they plan to stop trucking within six months or are unsure what their situation will be.
